Comet Lemmon
Visible pre-dawn through binoculars and telescopes
Comet Lemmon C/2012 F6 is observable in the east shortly before dawn through binoculars and telescopes from dark sky sites, far from the light pollution encountered in urban and sub-urban locations.
The finder chart below should help locate it. The comet is expected to fade from magnitude 6.7 to about magnitude 8.0 as the month progresses.
